RankUp Uzbekistan Refund Policy (draft)
DRAFT — Prepared under the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Law "On Electronic Commerce" (No. O'RQ-792 of 29 September 2022). Items marked [Policy decision needed] are for the Operator to decide. Do not use until a lawyer has reviewed it. The ad service is provided to businesses (B2B); check separately to what extent consumer protection law applies. The Service currently runs in test (sandbox) mode, and no real money moves. Reference translation. The Uzbek text is the official version and prevails if the two differ.
1. Scope
This policy applies to ad payments made after winning a ranking auction.
2. Bidding
A bid is not a payment, so there is nothing to refund. An accepted bid can't be canceled.
3. After payment, before the ad period starts
[Policy decision needed] For example: a request made at least [N] days before the ad period starts gets a full refund; for a later request, [X]% is withheld.
4. After the ad period has started
[Policy decision needed] For example: a pro-rata refund for the remaining days.
5. Ad not shown because of the Operator
For any period in which the ad was not shown through the Operator's fault, such as a system failure, the money is refunded pro rata, or the ad period is extended if the advertiser prefers.
6. Auction canceled
Before payment, the payment request is canceled; after payment, the full amount is refunded.
7. Ad taken down for violating the advertising policy

8. Payment deadline missed
If the payment deadline (72 hours after the auction closes) passes and the win lapses, no payment was made, so there is nothing to refund.
9. How refunds work, and when
- Send a request with the order number and the reason to [e-mail].
- Under Article 27 of the Law on Electronic Commerce, the money is returned by the same method used for the payment.
- The Operator reviews the request within [N] business days and makes the refund within the period set by law. [Legal review needed: the period under Article 27 and liability for delay]
10. VAT and documents
If the Operator is a VAT payer, the VAT is refunded together with the payment and a corrective electronic invoice is issued. [Legal review needed]
